The International Baccalaureate (IB) is an international educational program offered by some Victorian schools.
The IB may be more challenging, but it offers you an internationally recognised qualification that can open doors to study overseas and prepares you for a future career.
IB programmes
There are four educational programmes offered to students aged 3 to 19.
- Primary Years Programme (age 3-12)
- Middle Years Programme (age 11-16)
- Diploma Programme (age 16-19)
- Career-related Programme (age 16-19)
Advantages of the IB
As an IB student you can still apply for Australian tertiary courses through VTAC, but your secondary qualification is also recognised by universities and colleges all over the world.
